The long wait is over. The speculations has now turned into a reality. Both parties have reached into an agreement to make the biggest fight in history happen and make the boxing fans happy. Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced Friday that he’s agreed to fight Manny Pacquiao in a welterweight bout May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas.

Manny Pacquiao posted on his twitter account:
“I am very happy that Floyd Mayweather and I can give the fans the fight they have wanted for so many years,”
Pacquiao was said to have signed the contract for the upcoming match last Thursday.
“They have waited long enough and they deserve it. It is an honor to be part of this historic event. I dedicate this fight to all the fans who willed this fight to happen and, as always, to bring glory to the Philippines and my fellow Filipinos around the world.”
Although, no official announcement yet for the split, it is expected that Floyd Mayweather will get the bigger share of the pie which is 60-40, with Mayweather getting atleast $120 million and Pacquiao $80 million.
