Boy Abunda’s popular Talk Show at the Abs-Cbn Network is now aired at the GMA-7 News Network. One of the very first celebrities interviewed by Boy Abunda on his Fast Talk With Boy Abunda in his new network was Alden Richards. In this episode, Richards made a first-time revelation that was never revealed before.
When asked about his issues with his long-time loveteam Maine Mendoza:
Boy Abunda: Marami pa ring naniniwala mapahanggang sa ngayon na kasal kayo ni Maine, meron kayong anak ni Maine. What do you want to say?
Alden Richard: I think, everything po is self-explanatory. Ulitin ko po, during the Aldub era, magpapasalamat po kami sa lahat ng suporta na binigay ninyo sa amin at sa lahat ng pagmamahal. Masaya po kami na napasaya namin kayo but right now po kasi, kami po ni Maine, we are at a point na, we are not getting any youger. We already made our personal choices. We’re very good friends up to this point.
Boy Abunda: Wala kayong anak, at hindi kayo kasal.
Alden Richards: Wala po.
Boy Abunda: Yan ang importante. That has to be categorically stated, diba?
Once again, Alden Richards made it clear that he doesn’t have a relationship with his previous loveteam Maine Mendoza and doesn’t have a child as claimed by some Aldub fans.
Maine Mendoza was engaged to his celebrity boyfriend Arjo Atayde, the son of the veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez. Arjo went on bended knees on July 28, 2022 to ask his famous lover to marry him. Of course, the answer was “Yes”, and they were happily engaged after that romantic moment. Maine Mendoza flashed her beautiful engagement ring on her Instagram account with their romantic photos the day after.
